bed heads (#7)

lets take nyquil
and stay awake
we'll play with power tools
that we got from flea markets
we'll play with chem sets
that we got from yard sales
we'll try to make a way

that we both can sleep all day

so load up the back seat

with blankets and pillows

we'll drive until we crash

and can not last no longer

we don't sleep in silence

we don't sleep at all

we can't rest our weary heads

unless we're under heavy meds

we dream of nothing

unless meds decide to bring

technicolored dream scapes
that we can't escape
it takes a week of nyquil

but it's worth the wait
