long way home

I put the pettle to the floor
and the radio on high
my windows are down
and i feel alive

I'm out on my own
And I'm trying to get home
The seat are shakin from sound
Of my tires burnin ground

Tonight I'm taking the long way home
I'm wasted, I faced it, the whole day's blown
I'm burnt out like a street light
In the middle of the night
Paraniod to the bone
On the long way home

Now I'm racing the western sun
I'm catchin up, I'm gaining ground, the days not done

If I can keep this pace
I'll never leave this place
My clock is stuck on dusk
As pistons start to rust

When I'm taking the long way home
Back roads and alley, the paved unknown
And it's getting kinda creepy
Cause I know I'm not alone
Paranoid to the bone
On the long way home

And now I'm really worried
That I took the wrong way home
I'm lost on my own
I'm on my own
But I'm not alone
I'm on my own
But I'm not alone

Tonight I'm taking the long way home
I'm wasted, I faced it, the whole day's blown
I'm burnt out like a street light
In the middle of the night

When I'm taking the long way home
Back roads and alley, the paved unknown
And it's getting kinda creepy
Cause I know I'm not alone
Paranoid to the bone
On the long way home

Yeah I'm taking the long way home
Yeah I'm taking the long way home
Yeah I'm taking the long way home
Yeah I'm taking the wrong way home
