sundays

I'll come out straight and plain as can be
Miss you and need you right here with me
I know that I left but you did the same
I'll take fall here but we're both to blame

And I'm sorry that all of this came to an end.
I'm sorry did you see me more than a friend?
Pointless the question, It fuels my depression
And I'm so sorry. Did I mention I'm sorry?

And I guess I was never really the best
At showing my feelings or passing your tests
I know that I loved you, I swear that I cared
I'll never forget everything that we shared
And even if all of this comes to an end
I'm always in love and I'll miss you my friend

But I know what I'm screaming into this
Microphone sounds like a bucket of piss
I used and abused you down to the bone
I made you feel love then I left you alone
And don't think I'm proud to be here tonight
I'd rather be somewhere out of your sight
These word have to kill you they're doing the same
To me and I won't dare to tell you I'm in pain
It's a burden I bare and a burden I'll keep
It one of the two things that keeps me from sleep
I toss and I turn and I cry
And I'm so sorry, I'm on my knees I'm so sorry

And I'm sorry that all of this came to an end.
I'm sorry did you see me more than a friend?
Pointless the question, It fuels my depression
And I'm so sorry. Did I mention I'm sorry?

And I guess I was never really the best
At showing my feelings or passing your tests
I know that I loved you, I swear that I cared
I'll never forget everything that we shared
And even if all of this comes to an end
I'm always in love and I'll miss you my friend

I guess it's a shame that we have to go
I know I'm to blame and this goes to show
I'll count the Sundays; Yes, I'll count the Sundays
